Predvsem se je potrebno odre\u010di kajenju in pretiranemu pitju alkoholnih pija\u010d, odpraviti nezdrave prehranjevalne navade (manj soli, ma\u0161\u010dobe in sladkorjev ter ve\u010d sadja in zelenjave) ter ohranjati telesno dejavnost in primerno telesno te\u017eo. Ker povi\u0161ana raven holesterola dolgo ne povzro\u010da te\u017eav in se je marsikatera oseba sploh ne zaveda, je raven holesterola potrebno sprotno preverjati in za svoje zdravje poskrbeti \u010dim prej.<\/p>\n<h2>Sladkorna bolezen<\/h2>\n<p>Z oralnim glukozno toleran\u010dnim testom lahko preveri\u0161 vrednost krvnega sladkorja in tako ugotovi\u0161, ali potrebuje\u0161 spremembo k bolj zdravemu \u017eivljenjskemu slogu, ali pa je tvoja vrednost krvnega sladkorja optimalna. Za <b>prepre\u010devanje<\/b> in zdravljenje te <b>dedne bolezni<\/b> je pomemben predvsem optimalen vnos kalcija, ki ga zau\u017eije\u0161 s hrano, in vitamina D, ki je nujno potreben za metabolizem kostnine.
