Prispeva k pravilnemu <b>delovanju \u0161\u010ditnice<\/b>, ki proizvaja hormona tiroksin in trijodtironin, hkrati pa jod tudi vzdr\u017euje normalno velikost \u0161\u010ditnice. Zaradi tako velikega vpliva na \u0161\u010ditnico jod igra veliko vlogo pri osnovnih metaboli\u010dnih procesih, telesu pomaga vzdr\u017eevati <b>energijo<\/b> ter pripomore k <b>zdravju ko\u017ee<\/b>, <b>zob<\/b>, <b>nohtov<\/b> in <b>las<\/b>. Dobro vpliva tudi na \u017eenske <b>reproduktivne organe<\/b> ter na tkivo v dojkah, saj pripomore k normalni rasti reproduktivnih organov, v dojkah pa prepre\u010duje fibrozo.<\/p>\n<p>Priporo\u010den je nose\u010dnicam, saj omogo\u010da normalno delovanje \u0161\u010ditnice pri zarodku, pa tudi zagotavlja normalen razvoj govora in sluha pri otroku. Pomanjkanje joda je za nose\u010dnice zelo tvegano, saj se pri otroku pomanjkanje lahko poka\u017ee v obliki te\u017eav z mentalnim ali telesnim razvojem.<\/p>\n<p>Jod odpravlja tudi nekaj drugih bolezenskih stanj, recimo hemoroide, migrene in ciste na jaj\u010dnikih ter prepre\u010duje rast \u0161kodljivih bakterij v \u010drevesju.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Kako opazimo, da nam primanjkuje joda?<\/h2>\n<p>Pomanjkanje joda lahko na telo vpliva slabo na ve\u010d na\u010dinov. Poleg tega, da v\u010dasih prinese ob\u010dutke anksioznosti in depresije, nekatere raziskave nakazujejo, da naj bi se ob pomanjkanju joda IQ zmanj\u0161al za najve\u010d 15 to\u010dk. \u010ce na\u0161e telo ne dobi dovolj joda, ga \u0161\u010ditnica jemlje iz krvi, da bi zagotavljala proizvodnjo hormonov, ohranja pa tudi rezervo. V primeru, da se rezerve joda porabijo, za\u010dne primanjkovati tudi hormonov, \u0161\u010ditnica se pove\u010da in pojavi se gol\u0161a.<\/p>\n<p>Fizi\u010dni simptomi lahko vklju\u010dujejo tudi suho in luskavo ko\u017eo, utrujenost, te\u017eave z zaprtostjo, pridobivanje telesne te\u017ee, zmanj\u0161ano plodnost in \u0161e nekatere druge znake. Pomanjkanje joda najhuje prizadene majhne otroke, pri katerih lahko pride do kretenizma.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Katera hrana vsebuje jod?<\/h2>\n<p>Veliko joda vsebuje morska hrana (sardine, jastog, losos, \u0161koljke, tuna, alge, polenovka, rakci itd.). \u010ce ta ni po tvojem okusu, pa lahko jod v svoje telo vnese\u0161 s sadjem (ananas, kokos, jagode, marelice, mango itd.) in zelenjavo (\u010desen, soja, \u0161pina\u010da, bu\u010da itd.). Jod vsebuje tudi voda in seveda jodirana sol.
