Vsi vemo, kako pomembni so vitamini za na\u0161e zdravje in da je pomanjkanje lahko \u0161kodljivo, zato ve\u010d kot jih zau\u017eijemo, bolj zdravi bomo. Steven Salzberg, je v zanimivem prispevku za Forbes povzel \u0161tevilne znanstvene raziskave in marsikdo bo presene\u010den ob spoznanju, da vitamini pravzaprav niso tako zdravi, kot mislimo.<\/p>\n<h2>5 vitaminov, ki jih ni dobro u\u017eivati (v obliki dodatkov)<\/h2>\n<p>Na podlagi \u0161tevilnih raziskav s celega sveta je dr. Salzberg izpostavil 5 najbolj popularnih vitaminskih dodatkov, ki za na\u0161e zdravje bodisi niso koristni, ali pa so lahko celo \u0161kodljivi, \u010de jih jemljemo kot dodatek.<\/p>\n<h3>Vitamin C<\/h3>\n<p>Sloves vitamina C, ki naj bi \u010dude\u017eno krepil na\u0161 imunski sistem in zdravil gripo in prehlad, je posledica zmotne teorije iz 70-ih let prej\u0161njega stoletja. Povsem dovolj ga zau\u017eijemo s sve\u017eim sadjem in zelenjavo, pove\u010dan vnos vitamina z dodatki pa je neu\u010dinkovit in, \u010deprav se z njim ne moremo zastrupiti, lahko pretirane koli\u010dine (od 2000mg naprej) pove\u010dajo tveganje za razvoj ledvi\u010dnih kamnov.<\/p>\n<h3>Vitamin A in beta karoten<\/h3>\n<p>\u010ceprav vitamini A, C in E veljajo za antioksidante, ki naj bi prepre\u010devali nastanek raka, dokazov za to ni. Dejansko so, po raziskavah, kadilci, ki u\u017eivajo vitamin A ali beta karoten v dodatkih celo bolj ogro\u017eeni, da bodo zboleli za plju\u010dnim rakom. Z vitaminom A pa se lahko celo smrtno zastrupimo.<\/p>\n<h3>Vitamin E<\/h3>\n<p>Dolgo je veljal za \u010dude\u017eno sredstvo proti vsem vrstam raka, \u0161tudije pa so pokazale, da to ne dr\u017ei. Med mo\u0161kimi, ki u\u017eivajo pove\u010dane koli\u010dine vitamina E so dejansko opazili ve\u010djo pogostost raka prostate.<\/p>\n<h3>Vitamin B6<\/h3>\n<p>Vitamine skupine B v zadostnih koli\u010dinah zau\u017eijemo s hrano, pomanjkanja pa so redka. Pove\u010dano u\u017eivanje vitamina B6 pa lahko na dolgi rok po\u0161koduje \u017eiv\u010devje in v skrajnih primerih povzro\u010di motori\u010dne okvare.<\/p>\n<h3>Multivitamini<\/h3>\n<p>Verjetno najbolj priljubljen vitaminski dodatek so t.i. multivitamini, ki vsebujejo vitamine C, E, A, B. Ne le, da jih mnogi u\u017eivajo v kapsulah in \u0161ume\u010dih tabletah, precej pogosto jih proizvajalci dodajajo tudi sladkim pija\u010dam in nekaterim \u017eivilom.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.moski.si\/sodoben-moski\/moje-zdravje\/5-vitaminov-ki-jih-raje-nehajmo-jemati\/galerija\/img-177774476\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-178098\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-178098\" title=\"177774476\" src=\"http:\/\/www.moski.si\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/vitamini2-660x602.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"462\" height=\"421\" srcset=\"http:\/\/moski.hudo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/vitamini2-320x292.jpg 320w, http:\/\/moski.hudo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/vitamini2-660x602.jpg 660w, http:\/\/moski.hudo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/vitamini2.jpg 620w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 462px) 100vw, 462px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Za vse na\u0161tete vitamine velja, da raziskave ne potrjujejo u\u010dinkov, ki jih obljubljajo proizvajalci prehranskih dodatkov. Vendar je neu\u010dinkovitost najmanj\u0161i problem, \u010de pomislimo na morebitne negativne u\u010dinke, \u0161e dodaja dr. Salzberg. S \u0161pina\u010do, denimo, ki je bogat vir vitaminov in mineralov, ne moremo zau\u017eiti prevelikih ali celo nevarnih koli\u010din.
