Med drugim pomaga uravnavati visok krvni tlak in bla\u017ei bole\u010dine v mi\u0161icah po vadbi, potrebujemo pa ga razmeroma veliko &#8211; priporo\u010dena dnevna koli\u010dina je 4.700 mg. To koli\u010dino dose\u017eemo le, \u010de u\u017eivamo dovolj zelenjave in sadja, kot so brokoli, melone, banane (!), bu\u010de itd., ki so bogati viri kalija.<\/p>\n<h2>Magnezij<\/h2>\n<p>Telo magnezij potrebuje pri skoraj vseh svojih opravilih. \u010ceprav se vsi zavedamo njegovega pomena, ga mnogi zau\u017eijemo premalo. Dobri viri magnezija so v prvi vrsti ore\u0161\u010dki, kot so mandeljni in indijski ore\u0161\u010dki. Bogati z magnezijem pa so tudi semena in polnozrnata \u017eita, zelene zelenjave (\u0161pina\u010da, ohrovt, kre\u0161a itd.) in stro\u010dnice.<\/p>\n<h2>Jod<\/h2>\n<p>Ker so bile bolezni \u0161\u010ditnice kot posledica pomanjkanja joda tako zelo raz\u0161irjene, so leta 1920 v ZDA, nato pa tudi v Evropi, jedilni soli za\u010deli dodajati jod. Danes pa zdravniki na Zahodu zopet opa\u017eajo znake pomanjkanja te pomembne mineralne snovi, razlog za to pa vidijo v spremembah v prehrani. Mnogi ljudje tako raje, kot po jodirani, posegajo po naravni morski soli. Poleg tega se vedno ve\u010d ljudi odpoveduje mle\u010dnim izdelkom, ki so bili sicer eden glavnih virov joda (umetno ga dodajajo kravji krmi). Bogati viri joda so denimo morski sade\u017ei in ribe, jajca in mle\u010dni izdelki ter \u017eivila, obogatena z jodom. Slednja so re\u0161itev za tiste, ki ne u\u017eivajo \u017eivil \u017eivalskega izvora.<\/p>\n<h2>Vitamin D<\/h2>\n<p>Dolgo smo ta vitamin poznali le zaradi njegovega pomena za mo\u010dne kosti. No, danes znanstveniki ugotavljajo, da pomanjkanje vitamina D mo\u010dno pove\u010duje verjetnost za razvoj katerekoli bolezni. In \u010deprav je najbolj enostaven in zanesljiv vir vitamina D izpostavljanje soncu, je zaradi \u0161kodljivosti UV sevanja slednje bolje omejiti in vitamin D u\u017eivati s hrano. Mastne ribe, rumenjak, jetra, jetrno olje itd. so narni viri tega vitamina. Mnoga \u017eivila so obogatena z vitaminom D, \u010desar bodo veseli tisti, ki jim prej omenjena \u017eivila ne di\u0161ijo najbolj.
