Vplivajo tudi na proizvodnjo hormonov, sodelujejo pri prenosu \u017eiv\u010dnih impulzov in na splo\u0161no skrbijo za kvaliteto stanja na\u0161ega organizma. Med najpomembnej\u0161e minerale pri\u0161tevamo \u017eelezo, cink, magnezij, selen, kalcij, baker in kalij, a tudi druge nikakor ne gre zanemariti.
