Pri tem je ekipa nevroznanstvenikov in psihologov ugotovila, da ima dolgotrajno sedenje ob\u010duten vpliv na tanj\u0161anje medialnega temporalnega re\u017enja. Gre za predel mo\u017eganov, ki sodeluje pri oblikovanju novega pomnenja.<\/p>\n<p>Zmanj\u0161anje tega spominskega obmo\u010dja utegne pri ljudeh v srednjih in poznih letih po vsej verjetnosti voditi do upada psihi\u010dnih sposobnosti in demence, domnevajo znanstveniki. Svoje rezultate so objavili v strokovni reviji Plos one.<\/p>\n<p>Tisti, ki mislijo, da se bodo temu u\u010dinku lahko izognili z redno vadbo, bodo razo\u010darani: niti intenzivna telesna aktivnost tega \u0161kodljivega vpliva sedenja na na\u0161e mo\u017egane ne more ustrezno nadomestiti, so zapisali znanstveniki.<\/p>\n<p>V povpre\u010dju so sodelujo\u010di navedli, da so presedeli pribli\u017eno tri do sedem ur na dan. Raziskava je pri tem dala grozljive rezultate: znanstveniki so izmerili, da se je z vsako presedeno uro debelina mo\u017eganov zmanj\u0161ala. Ali in kako pogosto so sodelujo\u010di prekinili svoje sede\u010de dejavnosti, niso upo\u0161tevali.<\/p>\n<p>Znanstveniki so ob tem poudarili, da gre za prvo raziskavo, s katero \u0161e ni mogo\u010de dokazati, da je dolgotrajno sedenje zares odgovorno za tanj\u0161anje mo\u017eganskih plasti. Njihov naslednji projekt bo zato dolgoro\u010dna raziskava, v kateri bodo testno skupino ljudi spremljali v dalj\u0161em \u010dasovnem obdobju.
