Zelje operemo in naribamo (ali, \u010de nimamo strgala za zelje, z no\u017eem fino nare\u017eemo). Olupimo \u010debulo in jo na drobno sesekljamo. V posodi segrejemo maslo in dodamo sladkor, ki ga pri zmerno mo\u010dnem ognju popra\u017eimo do temno zlate barve. Dodamo zelje, \u010debulo, kumino, sol in poper ter vse skupaj med me\u0161anjem slabo minuto pra\u017eimo. Prilijemo ju\u0161no osnovo, pustimo, da enkrat mo\u010dno zavre, nato posodo pokrijemo in pustimo, da 15min kuhlja na srednjem ognju.
