Spanje pa pomembno vpliva na zdravje, ne le pri otrocih in mladih, ampak tudi pri odraslih in starej\u0161ih.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Kako pomembno je spanje, pogosto zavemo \u0161ele, ko za\u010dutimo posledice njegovega pomanjkanja. Spanje je namre\u010d nujno potreben proces za pre\u017eivetje, tudi za dobro kakovost \u017eivljenja, na\u0161o u\u010dno uspe\u0161nost in delovno u\u010dinkovitost. V spanju se obnavljajo celice telesa, kratkoro\u010dni spomin se spreminja v dolgoro\u010dnega, spanje vpliva na izlo\u010danje pomembnih hormonov,&#8221; je za Nacionalni in\u0161titut za javno zdravje (NIJZ) razlo\u017eila otro\u0161ka somnologinja Barbara Gnidovec Stra\u017ei\u0161ar.<\/p>\n<p>Strokovnjaki odraslim za bolj\u0161e spanje priporo\u010dajo, naj \u010dez dan ne dremajo. Priporo\u010dajo, da kofeina ne u\u017eivamo vsaj \u0161est ur pred spanjem in se izogibamo nikotinu ter alkoholu. Posebej poudarjajo, naj se alkohola ne uporablja kot hipnotika. Spanje pa bo bolj\u0161e tudi v udobnem spalnem okolju. Ne priporo\u010dajo telesne dejavnosti pred spanjem, bolje je biti aktiven \u010dez dan.<\/p>\n<p>Za kakovostnej\u0161e spanje je pomembno, da se v posteljo odpravimo vsak dan ob enaki uri in spimo enako dolgo. Priporo\u010dajo tudi, da budilke ne nastavimo le za zbujanje temve\u010d tudi za spanje.<\/p>\n<p>V soboto obele\u017eujemo svetovni dan narkolepsije. Gre za nevrolo\u0161ko bolezen, ki se najbolj ka\u017ee kot \u010dezmerna in neobvladljiva dnevna zaspanost. Pogosto je pri bolnikih prisotna tudi katapleksija, kar pomeni, da bolniki ob nenadnem \u010dustvenem dogodku izgubijo mi\u0161i\u010dno mo\u010d. Oseba se med napadom dogajanja zaveda, vendar ne more govoriti ali se odzvati. Pojavi se pri od 60 do 90 odstotkih bolnikov z narkolepsijo.<\/p>\n<p>Bolniki z narkolepsijo \u010dez dan \u010dutijo nezadr\u017eno potrebo po spanju. Napade \u010dezmerne dnevne zaspanosti bolniki do\u017eivljajo v \u010dasu, ko ne smejo spati oziroma si tega ne \u017eelijo, kot na primer sredi pogovora, vo\u017enje z avtomobilom, med delom ali med jedjo. Za osebe z narkolepsijo je zna\u010dilno tudi prekinjeno no\u010dno spanje ali spanje po obrokih.<\/p>\n<p>Te\u017eave s spanjem oziroma motnje spanja pa ima tudi od 10 do 30 odstotkov otrok ter mladostnikov, ki pogosto ostajajo neprepoznane. V Celju deluje Center za motnje spanja otrok in mladostnikov, letno obravnavajo ve\u010d kot 300 otrok in mladostnikov z motnjam spanja. V spanju se izlo\u010dajo \u0161tevilni hormoni, med njimi tudi rastni hormon, ki ima odlo\u010dilno vlogo pri rasti in razvoju otroka, poudarja NIJZ.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Zaradi biolo\u0161kega zamika faze cirkadiane biolo\u0161ke ure in zaradi potrebe po zgodnjem vstajanju zaradi zgodnjega pri\u010detka \u0161olskega pouka otroci in mladostniki pogosto spijo premalo,&#8221; je pojasnila Gnidovec Stra\u017ei\u0161arjeva. &#8220;Motnje spanja lahko u\u010dinkovito zdravimo, zato je pomembno, da se zavedamo pomena dobrega spanja. Za dobro spanje pa lahko veliko naredimo tudi sami z upo\u0161tevanjem dobre higiene spanja,&#8221; je dodala.<\/p>\n<p>Za bolj\u0161i spanec priporo\u010dajo, da star\u0161i vzdr\u017eujejo stalni \u010das ve\u010dernega uspavanja in jutranjega prebujanja otroka ter ga navajajo na ritual pred spanjem. Star\u0161i naj otroka spodbujajo k samostojnemu uspavanju, iz prostora pa naj odstranijo vse tehnolo\u0161ke naprave.
