Gre za nekak\u0161ne za\u0161\u010ditne kapice na koncih kromosomov, ki se z vsako delitvijo celic skraj\u0161ajo in zato veljajo za pokazatelja staranja. Velja pravilo: kraj\u0161i kot so telomeri, starej\u0161e je \u017eivo bitje.<\/p>\n<p>Mo\u010dno predelana hrana, kot so denimo pripravljeni obroki, te procese pospe\u0161uje in povzro\u010da hitrej\u0161e staranje celic, je na svetovni konferenci o debelosti, ki te dni namesto v Dublinu poteka prek spleta, povedala vodja skupine \u0161panskih znanstvenikov Lucia Alonso-Pedrero.<\/p>\n<p>Ta &#8220;ultra predelana \u017eivila&#8221; so industrijsko izdelana in pogosto vsebujejo velike koli\u010dine ma\u0161\u010dob, soli in sladkorja ter dodatkov, kot so barvila in arome. Kot pripravljeni obroki so za potro\u0161nike zelo prakti\u010dna, a prehransko vse prej kot uravnote\u017eena ali priporo\u010dljiva izbira. Ve\u010d prej\u0161njih raziskav drugih ustanov je pokazalo povezave z visokim krvnim tlakom, debelostjo, depresijo, diabetesom in celo nekaterimi vrstami raka.<\/p>\n<p>Za svojo raziskavo so \u0161panski raziskovalci ocenili podatke pribli\u017eno 900 starej\u0161ih ljudi, od katerih je bila tretjina \u017eensk, v povpre\u010dju starih nekaj manj kot 68 let. Glede na prehranjevalne navade so jih razdelili v \u0161tiri skupine: prva skupina je pojedla manj kot dve zelo predelani \u017eivili na dan, \u010detrta ve\u010d kot tri. Izkazalo se je, da je bilo v \u010detrti skupini bistveno ve\u010d primerov bolezni srca in o\u017eilja ter diabetesa, njeni udele\u017eenci pa so zau\u017eili ve\u010d ma\u0161\u010dob, soli in holesterola ter manj zelenjave in sadja.<\/p>\n<p>Hkrati so se njihovi telomeri skr\u010dili: verjetnost, da bodo za\u0161\u010ditne kapice na kromosomih udele\u017eencev v \u010detrti skupini skraj\u0161ane, je bila za 82 odstotkov ve\u010dja kot pri udele\u017eencih v prvi skupini, je poro\u010dal spletni portal Science Codex.<\/p>\n<p>S tem so znanstveniki lahko dokazali, da se ljudje, ki torej jedo veliko industrijsko predelanih \u017eivil, biolo\u0161ko bistveno hitreje starajo. A hkrati so poudarili, da ne gre za neposredno vzro\u010dno zvezo.
