Namenjena je tako strokovni javnosti, kot so lekarni\u0161ki farmacevti in drugi zdravstveni delavci, kot tudi \u0161tudentom, dijakom in lai\u010dni javnosti.<\/p>\n<p>Knjiga na ve\u010d kot 500 straneh predstavlja podro\u010dje mineralov in vitaminov. Bralci lahko za vsak mineral in vitamin posebej izvedo, koliko ga potrebujemo, kak\u0161na je klini\u010dna uporabnost in v katerih vrstah hrane ga najdemo, pa tudi kak\u0161ne so posledice za zdravje ob pomanjkanju ali prekomerni uporabi ter interakcijah z u\u010dinkovinami in drugimi mikrohranili.<\/p>\n<p>Publikacijo so uredili Lucija Peterlin Ma\u0161i\u010d, Toma\u017e Vovk in Obreza, soustvarjalo pa jo je kar 40 avtorjev s podro\u010dja farmacije in \u017eivilske tehnologije.<\/p>\n<p>Knjiga je po besedah Obreze vir koristnih informacij o tematiki, ki je zlasti v zadnjem \u010dasu zelo pere\u010da. Potro\u0161niki se namre\u010d pogosto sre\u010dujejo z zdravstvenimi trditvami na temo vpliva dolo\u010denih snovi na delovanje imunskega odziva, ki so lahko &#8220;problemati\u010dne in tudi zavajajo\u010de, \u0161e posebej v situaciji, v kateri smo se zna\u0161li v tem letu,&#8221; je na spletnem dogodku, ki je potekal minuli \u010detrtek, dejal Obreza.<\/p>\n<p>Imunski sistem je po njegovih besedah zelo kompleksen, zato je logi\u010dno, da so v proces imunskega odziva vklju\u010deni \u0161tevilni minerali in vitamini, tudi vitamina D in C, ki sta v zadnjem \u010dasu marketin\u0161ko izpostavljena. A kot je poudaril, je klju\u010dnega pomena vnos razli\u010dnih vitaminov in mineralov v ustreznih koli\u010dinah, kar v ve\u010dini primerov dose\u017eemo z uravnote\u017eeno prehrano.<\/p>\n<p>Izjema so nekatera fiziolo\u0161ka stanja, kot so nose\u010dnost, dojenje in starost, razli\u010dni na\u010dini \u017eivljenja, kot so alkoholizem, bolezenske spremembe ter razli\u010dne oblike diet, med katerimi so nekatere povsem neustrezne, je poudaril Obreza.<\/p>\n<p>Kadar pride do te\u017eav zaradi pomanjkanja dolo\u010denih snovi, pa Obreza svetuje, da damo prednost zdravilom pred prehranskimi dopolnili. Med prehranskimi dopolnili in zdravili je namre\u010d po njegovih besedah velika razlika, saj za prva veljajo manj stroga pravila pri registraciji in nadzoru.<\/p>\n<p>Ko pomislimo na vitamine in minerale, sta pogosto prva asociacija sadje in zelenjava, ki sta po besedah Bla\u017ea Cigi\u0107a z Biotehni\u0161ke fakultete Univerze v Ljubljani res dobra vira vitaminov in mineralov. Ker pa s sadjem v velikih koli\u010dinah vna\u0161amo tudi ogljikove hidrate, predvsem sladkorje, je zelenjava pogosto bolj\u0161a izbira. Ob tem je Cigi\u0107 izpostavil listnato zelenjavo, kot so ohrovt, \u0161pina\u010da ali blitva, ki imajo veliko \u017eeleza, magnezija, kalcija, pa tudi vitaminov A, E in folne kisline.<\/p>\n<p>Na vsebnost mineralov in vitaminov v \u017eivilih lahko po njegovih besedah vplivajo tudi tehnolo\u0161ki procesi oziroma postopek priprave hrane. Velike izgube tako denimo nastanejo z lupljenjem zunanje strani sadja in zelenjave, veliko mineralov in vitaminov pa se nahaja tudi v vodi, v kateri kuhamo, ki jo pogosto zavr\u017eemo.<\/p>\n<p>Ob tem je opozoril, da z \u017eivili, ki jih ogla\u0161ujejo kot super\u017eivila oziroma superhrano, ne moremo pokriti vseh potreb po vitaminih in mineralih. Pogosto se kot tak\u0161na ogla\u0161ujejo bolj eksoti\u010dna \u017eivila, kot so spirulina, maca, razno jagodi\u010devje, in ker so potro\u0161niki z njimi manj seznanjeni, so pripravljeni pla\u010dati ve\u010d, je menil Cigi\u0107. Svetoval je, da naj bodo potro\u0161niki pozorni na zdravstvene trditve o prehranski in zdravstveni ustreznosti \u017eivila, ki jih podeljujeta evropska agencija za varnost hrane (EFSA) in Ameri\u0161ka uprava za hrano in zdravila (FDA).<\/p>\n<p>Potrebe po mineralih, kot sta magnezij in kalcij, so po besedah Staneta Pajka s FFA v Sloveniji v zahodnem svetu zadovoljene, kljub temu pa obstaja del populacije, ki zau\u017eije premalo obeh. Glavni viri kalcija so mle\u010dni izdelki in zelena zelenjava, glavni vir magnezija pa ore\u0161ki in semena, kot so kakav, orehi, le\u0161niki, \u017eitarice, stro\u010dnice. V Sloveniji in zahodnem svetu ga veliko zau\u017eijemo s kavo in \u010dokolado, pa tudi z vodo, ki je trda in vsebuje tako kalcij kot tudi magnezij, je pojasnil Pajk.<\/p>\n<p>V nadaljevanju je Miroslava Abazovi\u0107 iz Dolenjske lekarne Novo mesto spregovorila o \u017eelezu in cinku ter skupini vitaminov B, med katerimi je izpostavila folno kislino ter vitamin B12, Janez Mravljak s FFA pa je predstavil vitamina C in D.<\/p>\n<p>Udele\u017eenci spletnega dogodka so se strinjali, da je klju\u010dnega pomena raznolika, kakovostna prehrana, da jemo zmerno ter da poskrbimo za gibanje na sve\u017eem zraku, prednost pred prehranskimi dopolnili pa naj ima zdrava in uravnote\u017eena prehrana.
