Sede\u010de vedenje se nana\u0161a na vsako sede\u010do ali le\u017ee\u010do aktivnost v budnem stanju, pri kateri je poraba energije manj\u0161a ali enaka 1,5 metabolnega ekvivalenta (MET).<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;WHO vse poziva, naj med pandemijo covida-19 ostanejo aktivni,&#8221; je novinarjem dejal Ruediger Krech, pri organizaciji pristojen za promocijo zdravja. &#8220;\u010ce ne bomo ostali aktivni, tvegamo pandemijo bolezni, ki bodo posledica sede\u010dega na\u010dina \u017eivljenja,&#8221; je opozoril.<\/p>\n<p>Za zdaj \u0161e ni jasnih statistik, kak\u0161en je vpliv pandemije na telesno aktivnost, a \u0161tevilni so zaradi ustavitve javnega \u017eivljenja, omejitev gibanja, zaprtja telovadnic in drugih ukrepov prisiljeni ostati doma in so prekinili obi\u010dajno telesno aktivnost. To je \u0161e bolj zaskrbljujo\u010de, ker \u017ee pred pandemijo \u0161tevilni niso boli zadosti aktivni.<\/p>\n<p>Po ocenah WHO bi lahko s tem, da bi ve\u010d ljudi prepri\u010dali v gibanje, lahko prepre\u010dili do pet milijonov smrti na leto.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Fizi\u010dna aktivnost je klju\u010dna za zdravje in dobro po\u010dutje &#8211; lahko \u017eivljenju doda leta in letom \u017eivljenje,&#8221; je poudaril generalni direktor WHO Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus. &#8220;Vsak gib \u0161teje,&#8221; je dodal.<\/p>\n<p>Redna telesna aktivnost je klju\u010dna za prepre\u010devanje bolezni srca in o\u017eilja, sladkorne bolezni tipa 2 in raka. Zato WHO priporo\u010da najmanj dve uri in pol do pet ur zmerne do \u017eivahne aerobne vadbe na teden, otroci in najstniki pa bi se morali gibati najmanj eno uro dnevno. A statisti\u010dni podatki ka\u017eejo, da \u010detrtina odraslih in 80 odstotkov najstnikov ne dosega tega cilja.<\/p>\n<p>Telesna nedejavnost zdravstvene blagajne po svetu stane 54 milijard ameri\u0161kih dolarjev (okoli 45 milijard evrov) letno, \u0161e 14 milijard dolarjev (okoli 12 milijard evrov) pa se izgubi zaradi zmanj\u0161ane produktivnosti. A dobra novica je, da vsaka telesna aktivnost zmanj\u0161a negativne u\u010dinke predolgega sedenja.<\/p>\n<p>Smernice WHO izpostavljajo koristi telesne dejavnosti v vsakdanjem \u017eivljenju, bodisi doma, na poti ali na delovnem mestu. Organizacija tudi poudarja, da je aktivno \u017eivljenje koristno za vse, ne glede na njihove telesne sposobnosti. Tako k telesni dejavnosti spodbuja tudi nose\u010dnice ter invalide.
