Na ta na\u010din organokatalizatorji prina\u0161ajo najve\u010dje koristi \u010dlove\u0161tvu,&#8221; so \u0161e sporo\u010dili v Stockholmu.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;\u0160tevilna raziskovalna podro\u010dja in industrijske panoge so odvisni od sposobnosti kemikov, da gradijo molekule, ki lahko tvorijo elasti\u010dne in vzdr\u017eljive materiale, hranijo energijo v baterijah ali zavirajo napredovanje bolezni. Imenuje se asimetri\u010dna organokataliza in temelji na majhnih organskih molekulah,&#8221; je med drugim zapisal odbor.<\/p>\n<p>Kot je poudaril Johan Aqvist, ki predseduje Nobelovemu odboru za kemijo, je ta koncept &#8220;preprost in obenem genialen&#8221;, zato se \u0161tevilni dandanes spra\u0161ujejo, kako to, da se ga nih\u010de ni \u017ee prej spomnil. Organski katalizatorji so stabilni, okolju prijazni in poceni, zato se organokataliza razvija z osupljivo hitrostjo.<\/p>\n<p>Nagrajenca Nemec Benjamin List &#8211; rojen leta 1968 v Frankfurtu, danes zaposlen na nem\u0161kem In\u0161titutu Max Planck &#8211; ter David MacMillan &#8211; rojen prav tako leta 1968, a v \u0161kotskem mestu Bellshill, ki zdaj dela na ameri\u0161ki univerzi Princeton &#8211; ostajata vodilna na tem podro\u010dju.<\/p>\n<p>Lani sta bili Nobelovi nagrajenki za kemijo Francozinja Emmanuelle Charpentier in Ameri\u010danka Jennifer Doudna za razvoj genskih \u0161karij CRISPR\/Cas9.<\/p>\n<p>Razglasitve leto\u0161njih prejemnikov Nobelovih nagrad so se za\u010dele v ponedeljek, ko so sporo\u010dili, da nagrado za medicino ali fiziologijo prejmeta ameri\u0161ki fiziolog David Julius in armensko-ameri\u0161ki molekularni biolog, rojen v Libanonu, Ardem Patapoutian za odkritje receptorjev za temperaturo in dotik.<\/p>\n<p>V torek so podelili Nobelovo nagrado za fiziko japonsko-ameri\u0161kemu znanstveniku Syukuri Manabeju, Nemcu Klausu Hasselmannu in Italijanu Giorgiu Parisiju za njihov prispevek k vzpostavljanju podnebnih modelov in razumevanju kompleksnih fizikalnih sistemov.<\/p>\n<p>Nobelov teden se bo v \u010detrtek nadaljeval z nagrado za knji\u017eevnost, v petek pa za mir. V ponedeljek bo sledila \u0161e razglasitev Nobelove nagrade za ekonomijo.<\/p>\n<p>Nagrade bodo tradicionalno podelili 10. decembra, na obletnico smrti ustanovitelja denarnega sklada Alfreda Nobela. Nagrajenci znanstvenih kategorij ter knji\u017eevnosti bodo predvidoma zaradi pandemije covida-19 nagrade tudi letos prejeli v svojih domovinah namesto v \u0161vedski prestolnici Stockholm.
